The Monster Man, All-Star Rod & Gun Club and crew members working hard playing harder.
Everything you see on this site, unless otherwise noted, is carried out and produced by us. We are adventurers, explorers, big game anglers, wildlife presenters & researchers, writers, filmmakers, musicians, travelers and all-around nice guys you'd be proud to introduce to your mothers and pets.

You can check back here for ongoing behind-the-scenes info about what's going on with the television series, where we're headed next and all the other big news we've got in the pipeline. But first, we have to thank our family and friends for supporting us and believing in what we're doing every step of the way through this entire affair. It's taken tremendous sacrifice, risk and effort of every kind and on everyone's part. We haven't seen much of them this year and there's no way we could have done it without their unconditional support. We love and miss all of you, and hope you've enjoyed the peace and quite since we've been gone!

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Frank & Jenny Mundus for your trust, and most importantly, your friendship. This has been nothing short of the adventure of a lifetime and we couldn't be more proud about what we've done and what we will be doing together in the future. This was an against-all-odds proposition from the start, but look at us now. After all we've been through the past year, it's great to know we're just getting started.

just never change. We can thank our parents for exposing us at an early age to the natural and wild world outside those four walls.

Creating the series (below) was the best cure for sleep we've found since touring the world as musicians for a living.
When creating the overall concept for the series or writing and laying out episode and segment ideas, we plastered the walls of our house with these giant post-it notes. Maybe we'll frame them someday.
There were many long days and nights and lots of phone calls and emails back and forth with Frank and Jenny in Hawaii to discuss the progress and collaborate on various elements.
We brought the Cricket II's dragon sail home for safe keeping after our trip to North Carolina in February when we located and secured the vessel. Below is a sketch we did for the sail maker to use for constructing the new one you'll see in the series.

Here's just a few pics from some of the adventures we've had touring the world as musicians and performers. We'll add to this later, but for now, it gives you a good idea.

Why they call us The All-Star Rod & Gun Club

The All-Star Rod & Gun Club is something we stared as kids running around the world with our parents and the woods and oceans with our grandfathers. Sicne then, it's taken on a life of it's own and we've got members all over the map that celebrate living 'The WILD Life'.© with us.

This is a collection of just a few snapshots of the time we've spent working and playing with various wildlife species. There's no doubt we've got a little obsession with sharks and other marine life. All the animals you'll see here were documented and most often tagged for scientific research purposes.

Land-Based Shark Fishing is a technique we use that allows us to get up-close-and-personal with many shark species. We started an organization called The International Land-Based Shark Fishing Association (The ILSFA) to promote species conservation in the recreational shark fishing community. With Team OldSkool on expedition with a bull shark prior to release (above - note tag next to dorsal) and the bros spending some brief quality time with a lemon shark (below).
We're fortunate to have been raised in a tight family that instilled an appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife at an early age. Below you'll see us from left to right: Brooks, Scott, Sean, Tom. And above with an atlantic sailfish Brooks caught and released off Marathon, Florida in the keys.
Below: Brooks and Sean blow off some steam at the range testing a new Colt .45.
Our blood runs black and gold and it's easy to find us on Sundays during football season rooting on the World Champion PIttsburgh Steelers ... that is unless we're running around the woods or chasing fish with a camera.
The pictures below represent just a tiny fraction of the countless good memories we have with our family and some of the other wildlife species we've spent time with.
Below: Brooks with a baby seal he rescued, rehabilitated and released in Alaska with close friend Brandon Powell.
Above: Sean works to revive a female bull shark caught, tagged and released near Boca Grande, FL. Below: The Paxton Brothers (Sean left & Brooks right) work to document a blacktip shark caught and released near Jensen Beach, FL on another joint-venture adventure with Team OldSkool.
We're lucky to live on the water in SW Florida where we've got everything from sharks to alligators swimming around in the back yard. Although, we've worked with them in the wild, every now and then, one of them makes it's way into the yard or house. They're always welcome as long as they don't mind taking a picture before we send them home.
Below: Tom introduces an armadillo that wandered into the house to our four-legged, furry daughter, JD (on the right) while Brooks readies the door for a quick release for the little dinosaur.
Below: a few more scenes we've filmed for the series.
