Work continues through the day; first starboard, then port side pulpits are attached, tested, adjusted, readjusted, tested again, and ultimately reunited with the Cricket II. She's starting to regain her true beauty now. Although, we had a successful test run on the 12th of July and the first public charter on the 19th, it's a whole new shootin' match out there with these babies and we can't wait to try 'em out.
Aside from providing quality control and the occasional joke Frank got his hands nice and dirty during the process. Here's he's hand-braiding heavy braided cable for the pulpits.
Time to turn the boat and repeat the procedure for the port side
We had some expeditionary overnight shark trips planned and fortunately we have close friends and fellow monster hunters like John 'Drums & Guns' DeLeonardo. John also did his fair share of time on the Cricket II over the years as first mate. Here, he provides with an ample supply of shark food. Notice the grin on his face. All we can say is just wait until you see that episode. Overnighting is the tactic used to raise the largest sharks ever captured.
Back at Sportsman's Dock (below) work is wrapping up on the pulpits as we ice down the shark food and get ready for the crowds waiting back at Star Island Yacht Club & Marina.
Job well done (above). Below, the crowds never end and it's always interesting to see the fascination on faces of people from all walks of like and all ages.

It brings us great pleasure to thank some very special people and organizations for their vital role in making this a all a reality. Without their continued help, expertise, support, and friendship, the road to Montauk and beyond would've been a hell of a lot steeper.
