Once
again, we find ourselves at Liberty Landing Marina falling right
in with the usual suspects. If you're familiar with episode 3 in
this saga, you'll know these are some of the best people around.
It was great to see everyone again. And somehow, we managed to cram
about a week's worth of fun into a day and a half. |

Brooks
is granted control of Team Seven Oaks trans-atlantic rowing vessel.
Andy Clark and Wes want to take us across the canal from Liberty
Landing to Hoboken where they want us to meet some fellow crazies
that will actually be sailing a boat made of reeds across the Atlantic!
This, we had to see. |
|
Below:
I ride with Andy (top) and Wes (bottom) in the very space where
they'll be spending approximately 70 days on their rowing expedition
across the north Atlantic. |
|
So
this is what a boat made of reeds looks like. We certainly admire
the crew of the Abora III for their adventurous spirit and wish
them luck on their expedition. |

Us
with the Crew of the Abora III. Our concerns for them were greatly
reduced when we were pleasantly surprised to meet several FEMALE
crew members. |
|
The
moment we've all been waiting for. A crowd gathers to bid farewell
and godspeed to the crew of Team Seven Oaks. |

Captain
Andy of Team Seven Oaks (above) applies an All-Star Rod & Gun
Club sticker to their vessel before leaving the next morning. It's
a true honor. May the wind be at your back and Mother Nature kind
on your voyage to England. |

Another
beautiful Manhattan skyline, as seen from Liberty Landing Marina
and a few more 'one mores' before we say goodbye. |

The
next day we made it back to Montauk in time for the crowds that
always gather for Frank Mundus and the SeaMonster Circus. |

Back
at the Montauk Monster Mansion aka The Hoffman Residence (below)
we enjoy yet another pressure cooker masterpiece prepared by Frank
followed by some increasingly rare R&R. |

Displaying
my latest injury as Brooks I attend another meeting in NYC with
Bert Pence and New Line Cinema. |
|
Before
heading back on business for the 2nd time to Florida we grab some
boat supplies with Frank. While we're gone for a few weeks, he plans
on keeping himself busy with some refinements to the Cricket II.
He just couldn't resist this saw. |
